Serpentine Court

Regeneration in the Lakes Estate will largely focus on Serpentine Court. In Serpentine Court, the council owned homes are in need of significant investment, refurbishment or replacement.

To fund some of this work, new homes will be built in the Lakes Estate. You can find out more about these sites by looking at the Neighbourhood Plan later on this page.

In September 2017 we started meeting residents and stakeholders in Serpentine Court. We have a programme of events coming up for you to get involved in developing the regeneration plan.

Working with residents

We want you to be fully involved in helping us create the plan for Serpentine Court.

HTA are the architects who will lead the development of the masterplan for the area, with residents. Their role is to engage residents in a co-design process, where residents and architects design new spaces together.

Serpentine Court Regeneration Group

This group is made up of residents and businesses within Serpentine Court. They are supported by Tpas, your independent advisors. The group plays a central role in regeneration. They scrutinise and advise on YourMK's engagement with residents, making sure residents are a key partner in the process.

Contact Anne for more information.

Neighbourhood Plan

The Lakes Estate Neighbourhood Plan was voted in by a resident vote in September 2015.

We will use this plan as guidance when developing the regeneration plan for the Lakes Estate.

Community Communicators

We’re on the lookout for people living or working in the Lakes Estate to become Community Communicators.

Communicators help us get messages out where they live and work.

We have 154 communicators across Milton Keynes, 14 of these are in the Lakes Estate. If you're interested, please contact Anne.
